Description
Chemistry focuses on giving you better insights to what is happening when you Cook (The Maillard reaction, responsible for the delicious flavors and aromas), when you Camp (Water proofing experiments) and Staying Safe (Fire and Chemicals). THESE EXPERIMENTS ARE EASY PEASY !!
-- You may want to do the experiments BEFORE or AFTER the session... we will DISCUSS each of them in the session and Mo Scouts choose to do them afterwards. (please ask a parent to supervise you.!!)
-- you will submit to me a description of each of the four experiments... add a photograph of two of them!
Scouts find this introduction to chemistry enjoyable. It prepares you to better appreciate chemistry later in school. If you've already had chemistry as a subject in school, I hope you learned two or three NEW THINGS !!!
If you have any questions, please email me!!
