This is for Older Scouts Only. The Entrepreneurship Merit Badge teaches Scouts how to identify market opportunities, create business ideas, and test feasibility. Scouts develop foundational business plans and gain practical skills in finance, marketing, and management by either simulating or launching a real small-business venture

Prerequisites
Scout must complete the following items in advance:
- Brainstorm a Business Idea: Choose a unique product or service you want to launch.
- Conduct a Market Analysis: Identify your target customers and key competitors.
- Build a Financial Plan: Estimate your startup costs and set your selling price.
- Design a Marketing Flier: Create a promotional flyer for your business.
- Interview a Business Owner: Interview a local leader about their career and ethics.
- Research Business Careers: Pick three business careers and research their training paths.
- Complete the Workbook: Download and fill out the official BSA Entrepreneurship Workbook.
- Get Parent Permission: Secure written or verbal guardian approval for your business idea.
