Space is mysterious. We explore space for many reasons, not least because we don’t know what is out there, it is vast, and humans are full of curiosity. Each time we send explorers into space, we learn something we didn’t know before. We discover a little more of what is there.

1) Have the workbook printed out to complete as we discuss topics.

2) Participants are to complete the following prerequisites completed for the merit badge session: Requirements 2, 5, 6, and 8.

3) Prerequisites should be thoroughly completed and represent the work requested. In other words, stick figures and a few drawn lines do not constitute a site plan and research items should be fully completed and thought out (just like schoolwork assignments). Each participant will review their individual prerequisites and should be capable of explaining the ideas, concepts, and research
